Let’s get quizzical!

Let’s get quizzical!

In my book, one of the highlights of Tugby life is Quiz Night. We have three or four a year and they are always fun even for a dummy like me! I can remember names of my neighbours but not when the Queen was born or who won the FA Cup in 1993 (frankly, who cares and I had a great excuse as I was getting married that day!).

I ride on the back of my well read, erudite team members carefully thought-out answers and win or lose, have a great night out. Pride and Prejudice was quoted in our recent quiz, expertly crafted by Madeleine and Natasha, ‘For what do we live, but to make sport for our neighbours, and laugh at them in our turn?’ On this occasion they made the sport, and we had the rugby lot to laugh at! What’s not to like?

Oh, and did I mention we won the cup? The Wellfield Warriors look forward to the next quiz night and to any challengers wishing to take us on! I’ll have my best forgetory at my disposal… game on.
